With the 992, Salehe Bembury turns his attention to one of the most popular silhouettes from the New Balance archive for the first time. Following his 990v2, this is only his second project within the MADE in USA line – and once again, his signature style is clearly inspired by nature. ‘Calm Be The Crater’ takes its cue from the landscape around Oregon's Crater Lake, translating water, forests and rock into striking yet harmonious colour blocking.

The base consists of bold blue mesh, overlaid with various shades of green leather and hairy suede. Grey accents provide balance, while details such as cork insoles, a side branding tag and multicoloured ‘N’ logos underline the typical Bembury vibe. The outsole also plays with different shades of green and harmoniously rounds off the overall look.

Technically, the 992 remains a premium runner: MADE in the USA construction, high-quality materials and proven ABZORB cushioning deliver a high level of comfort. This makes the shoe not only a visual highlight, but also absolutely suitable for everyday wear.
