Saucony is going all out with the new ‘Glowaconstrictor’ edition of the Progrid Omni 9: the reptile-inspired design combines natural aesthetics, retro performance and edgy streetwear style in a sneaker that is anything but inconspicuous. Developed by senior designer @kodowar, the look is intended to reflect the strategy, calmness and elegance of a snake – and it succeeds with flying colours.

The upper combines a dual mesh construction, green shimmering snakeskin overlays and metallic shimmering accents with an animalistic dynamism. A special highlight is the iridescent colour palette, which changes depending on the incidence of light and is complemented by golden details on the tongue and trim – for a touch of luxury. The Progrid midsole offers proven walking comfort with a touch of 2010s tech, while the lace lock system and matte black midsole provide modern support and visual depth.

But that's not all: in addition to the eye-catching green original, variants in purple and blue are also expected, all of which impress with their snake-skin look, multicoloured mesh and high-quality workmanship.

The ‘Glowaconstrictor’ will be released on 15 July 2025 at a price of €180 as part of a three-part ‘Year of the Snake’ series with additional colourways in purple and blue.
