Song for the Mute and adidas continue their successful collaboration, delivering a particularly stylish reinterpretation of a true adidas archive classic with the new SFTM-008 Tokyo. The silhouette is based on the original 1964 Tokyo Runner and combines nostalgic track vibes with modern high-fashion aesthetics.

The collection is available in three different colourways: ‘Bluebird’, ‘Off-White’ and ‘Black’. Each colourway features its own unique combination of materials and aesthetic. Whilst the ‘Bluebird’ and ‘Off-White’ versions feature textured nylon, the black colourway uses coarse mesh for an airy summer look.

Additional corduroy and suede panels on the toebox and eyestays create striking contrasts and lend the trainers a particularly premium feel. These are complemented by contrasting suede Three Stripes, visible stitching details and deliberately incorporated vintage elements that subtly emphasise the worn look.

In typical Song for the Mute style, the branding remains pleasantly understated. Co-branding details on the tongue and insole complement the minimalist overall aesthetic without detracting from the intricate mix of materials.
