With the Soulgoods x Nike Homescape Woven, Nike is taking an unconventional approach. Rather than simply giving an existing classic a new look, the brand has collaborated with the Chinese sneaker store Soulgoods to create a completely new silhouette. The starting point was the idea of adding a mudguard to the legendary Footscape Woven – this eventually evolved into a standalone hybrid designed for everyday wear and light outdoor use.

Visually, the connection to the Footscape remains immediately recognisable. The characteristic woven side panels and asymmetrical lacing have been retained, whilst high-quality leather elements and brushed suede lend the upper added depth. The ‘Medium Orewood Brown’ colourway emphasises the natural outdoor look and really brings out the best in the various materials.

The Homescape Woven also brings a number of functional innovations. A robust trail outsole provides greater grip, whilst the fold-down heel transforms the trainer into a comfortable slip-on in an instant. Round laces, a lace stopper and subtle co-branding details round off the design, demonstrating that comfort and versatility are at the heart of this shoe.
