South Park x adidas Superstar Kyle

adidas is currently experiencing a surge in crazy colourways and collabs. Of course, the revived adidas Forum silhouettes that have received more and more attention over the course of the year immediately come to mind. The label from Herzogenaurach has been digging into its huge archive lately and has also pulled out numerous other classics.

Together with famous names like The Simpsons or Jeremy Scott, many silhouettes have then been given a modern look and sometimes even eclipsed coveted models like the Ultra Boost. Now, adidas is turning its attention back to an already familiar partner with South Park, announcing a whole new range of sneakers as a continuation of the Towelie.

So far, four sneakers have already been announced as part of the collection, which will represent the main characters of the series. Stan Marsh gets the adidas Stan Smith, Kyle Broflovski the adidas Superstar, Kenny McCormick the NMD R1, and the adidas Forum Low going to the legendary Eric Cartman. All shoes are inspired by the outfits of the four best friends.

The South Park x adidas Superstar Kyle mainly uses green tones on the entire upper. The Three Stripes on the sides, the inner lining, and the heel cap are equipped with a very bright green shade. These elements stand out mainly because of the soft fur, which is unique to Kyle's ushanka and gloves. The leather base, on the other hand, uses a much darker green to represent his trousers and top. The orange laces and the shoe tongue allude to Kyle's jacket. Off-white on the shell toe and sole round off the sneaker perfectly.

The South Park x adidas Campus '80s Towelie was already in high demand at the time of release and was sold out extremely quickly.
