TLDR: The SP5DER x adidas Superstar Supermodified will be released on 3 March 2026 for €150. Patent leather with an embossed spider web pattern, aggressive Three Stripes and eye-catching details make this collaboration a real statement release. adidas Originals and Young Thug's streetwear brand SP5DER are launching their first major joint collection – and it's a doozy. The focus is on a radically redesigned version of the Superstar: the SP5DER Superstar Supermodified.
The silhouette is based on the Supermodified variant, but gets a much more aggressive update. The upper is made of shiny patent leather and is completely covered with an embossed spider web pattern. The classic Three Stripes have been reinterpreted: they appear ‘stressed’, are wider and shifted further forward towards the toe box – for a dynamic, almost forward-thrusting look.
Additional highlights include metallic heel details and a laser-engraved spider keychain that comes with each pair. The co-branding on the tongue also clearly reflects the SP5DER DNA.
Two eye-catching colourways will be released at launch: Black with tonal black stripes Red with black stripes
Both versions come in special ribbed boxes including several thick extra laces. The black pair comes with Solar Green, SP5DER Pink and SP5DER Yellow, while the red model comes with White, SP5DER Yellow and SP5DER Pink. This allows you to customise the look.
The footwear drop is complemented by matching ‘I Love Sp5der’ graphic T-shirts with puff print. Instead of a classic heart, the adidas Trefoil is integrated here. The shirts come in black and white and feature the brand's signature spider and star graphics.
