Rather than featuring a character or scene from ‘Space Jam’, Jordan Brand takes a look behind the scenes with this colourway. The vibrant green is reminiscent of the green screens against which Michael Jordan performed alongside his co-stars – who were later animated – during filming.

The upper largely replaces the familiar mix of mesh and shiny patent leather with soft green suede and materials featuring varying textures. Orange elements on the outsole provide subtle contrasts, whilst special insoles and the anniversary packaging continue the film-inspired theme.

Beneath the monochrome design lies the tried-and-tested AJ11 construction with a foam midsole and Nike Air cushioning. A glow-in-the-dark outsole adds an extra detail to the trainer that fits perfectly with the supernatural ‘Space Jam’ universe.
