Nike continues its creative .SWOOSH collection with the Air Max 1 ‘Big Head Origins’, a design that is sure to delight gaming fans and sneakerheads alike. The model is based on the classic Air Max 1, but integrates sophisticated details reminiscent of the legendary Donkey Kong Country.

The upper is made of cream-coloured mesh with hairy brown suede overlays reminiscent of Donkey Kong's fur. Eye-catching red and yellow highlights symbolise DK's famous tie and provide striking colour accents. The pixelated tongue, the Swoosh in jagged leather look and the special DS coins on the insole are clear allusions to the 16-bit aesthetic of the SNES classics.
