Union LA x Converse CTAS HI Release News

Union LA is currently at the top of the world rankings. With two of the most popular releases in a long time, founder and designer Chris Gibbs is now working with Converse to create an artistic iteration of the Chuck Taylor All Star printed with "Harlem Toile".

Union LA has released two Air Jordan 4 models with Jordan Brand this season, and they are inspired by his own childhood. They also released a Nike ACG Moc, and now, Converse is adding to the list of collaborative partners.

Union LA x Converse CTAS HI Release Info

The collaboration with Converse and artist Sheila Bridges come into play via a Chuck Taylor All Star Hi. The partners use Sheila Bridges' artistic masterpiece, the famous "Harlem Toile", and print it on the large panels from CTAS. The basic structure is a clean canvas on which the special and colourful patterns are shown to their best advantage.

When asked about the inspiration for his next collab, Chris said: "Long before we met, I was just a fan of your Harlem Toile, not only as a beautiful work of art — which it is — but also as a criticism of racial relations in this country."
