With the Air Jordan 1 High OG ‘Black/Varsity Red,’ Union LA and fragment design bring their iconic designs together on a shared silhouette for the first time. Chris Gibbs and Hiroshi Fujiwara fuse their most famous Jordan 1 moments – from Union's DIY aesthetic to Fragment's clean black/blue DNA.
The upper combines high-quality tumbled leather with classic black toe colour blocking. Black overlays meet white base panels, while Fragment's signature Sport Royal blue on the heel and outsole ensures recognisability. The highlight is the red and black collar with visible ‘Urahara Stitch’ – a tribute to Tokyo's streetwear history. Exposed foam on the tongue, a Union tag on the collar and Fragment branding on the heel round off the design.
Following initial drops via Union during All-Star Weekend, the larger SNKRS release is now underway. Alongside the sneaker, there is also a matching apparel collection featuring hoodies, jerseys, tees and shorts in the typical mix of sport and street.
