UNION LA x Nike Cortez Lemon Frost

The Nike Cortez is one of the greatest classics from the huge portfolio of the brand with the Swoosh. Already in 1972 the first Cortez was released, and since then there was no stopping it. Major collabs with stars like Bella Hadid and rapper Kendrick Lamar have also been realised on the icon. A four-piece collection is now expected in collaboration with UNION LA.

The big collaboration partner is mainly known from the brilliant Air Jordan releases, like the Union LA x Air Jordan 4 or the legendary Union x Air Jordan 1 High. But now, we see the two labels collaborating on the Cortez silhouette.

We get to see a pretty crazy Cortez on which they’ve experimented with different colours and materials. On the upper, we see a wild mix of various suede panels on a base of embroidered textile. The outsole is made of the new "Crater" material, while the midsole is made of cork in the same colour. The "Lemon Frost" colourway convinces us with its eye-catching aesthetic, combining beige, pastel yellow, red, and purple.
