Willy Chavarria continues his collaboration with adidas Originals, reinterpreting the Megaride once again with exaggerated proportions. The result sits somewhere between a technical runner, a futuristic sculpture and a high-fashion trainer.
The upper consists of a black mesh inner shoe, over which a moulded cage with oval cut-outs is layered. The construction is reminiscent of a rib cage, which explains the name ‘Bones’. The monochrome Core Black clearly draws attention to the unusual shape.
Underfoot, the striking Megaride system with its open cushioning elements ensures comfort and delivers that signature Y2K tech look. Small accents in Better Scarlet break up the black colour scheme and add extra contrast to the sole unit.
