Willy Chavarria has transformed the adidas Megaride into a massive high-top that sits somewhere between a trainer, a performance shoe and an avant-garde boot. The high construction creates a particularly striking silhouette and fits perfectly with the collaboration’s experimental design language.

The upper combines leather with other synthetic materials. Triangular, padded panels encase the ankle, whilst a leather overlay covers the forefoot. Beneath this, mesh inserts and a large tongue create a technical layered look. The almost entirely black colourway is broken up only by small details in Better Scarlet.
