TLDR: The Nike Air Max Muse x Windowsen will be released on 1 November 2025 and is a futuristic reinterpretation of the popular model. With two striking colourways, morphing prints, detailed elements reminiscent of aliens, and a design language influenced by rave and sci-fi culture, the project brings Nike and avant-garde label WINDOWSEN together for one of the most exciting sneaker collaborations of the year. The collaboration was first unveiled on the catwalk at Shanghai Fashion Week in the spring and represents an uncompromisingly creative vision of the future of movement, identity and style. The creative mind behind it is Sensen Lii, founder of the Belgian-Chinese label WINDOWSEN. He is known for his theatrical couture designs with a techno edge. His goal is to stage the Air Max Muse as a ‘wearable work of art’ – somewhere between cyberpunk, alien aesthetics and physical-organic design.
The result is an Air Max Muse that bears little resemblance to the original model. In addition to a revamped shape, the shoe offers a changing, almost lifelike look thanks to lenticular prints that change depending on the angle of view. The model comes in metallic silver with rage green and metallic gold with racer blue and chili red.
Numerous details refer to the narrative universe of the collaboration: a removable lace charm in the shape of an alien, extraterrestrial symbols on the upper material and two-toed alien footprints on the outsole and inside.
When is the Nike Air Max Muse x Windowsen release date?
The sneaker will be released on 1 November 2025 at SNKRS and at selected Nike retailers worldwide.
How much will the Nike Air Max Muse x Windowsen cost?
An official euro price has not yet been announced, but the US RRP is expected to be $210. It is likely to be positioned in the premium segment.
