With the new model, WTAPS and New Balance continue their successful collaboration series, which began in 2020 and has since produced the 992, 990v2 and 998 models, among others. The two brands remain true to themselves with their latest drop: subtle colours in grey, olive and ‘blue green’, fine mesh, smooth nubuck overlays and minimal WTAPS branding (including WTVUA lettering on the heel) result in a sneaker with clear utility DNA.
The design is enlivened by bright neon green ABZORB SBS pods in the heel area, which are particularly eye-catching on the white, segmented sole.
