Yu-Gi-Oh! x Nike Air Muscle 95 "Joey"

TLDR: To mark the 30th anniversary of Yu-Gi-Oh!, Nike is releasing two special editions of the Air Max 95: the globally available ‘Joey’ in shades of blue and the Japan-exclusive ‘Jonouchi’ in shades of grey. Both models come in special boxes and include officially playable trading cards. The release is scheduled for 12 September 2025 at a price of €200.

Nike is celebrating the cult anime Yu-Gi-Oh! with a detailed rendition of the legendary ‘Air Muscle’ sneakers worn by Joey Wheeler in the series. The ‘Joey’ colourway combines several shades of blue with scratch marks, lace loops inspired by scratch marks, and ‘Yu-Gi-Oh!’ branding on the outsole and heel. The insole is adorned with Joey's ‘Red-Eyes Black Dragon’, complemented by a friendship motif. The ‘Jonouchi,’ available only in Japan, picks up on the look of the manga roots and comes in a subtle grey mix.

Both versions come in exclusive packaging and include official, playable Nike x Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG cards – a first in KONAMI's collaboration with a brand. Nike is also releasing an apparel collection, including a Domino High Destroyer jacket with premium details and co-branded T-shirts with anime graphics.

The global release of the ‘Joey’ will take place on 12 September 2025 via Nike SNKRS and selected retailers. The ‘Jonouchi’ colourway will be available exclusively in Japan at the same time.
