SoleFly Is Reportedly Planning a "What The" Version of the Air Jordan 1 Low

We haven't heard anything about the SoleFly x Air Jordan 1 Low OG "What The" for over a year, but now Carlos Prieto, founder of SoleFly, has hinted at a possible release. In Spring 2022, this highly anticipated sneaker first surfaced in some live images. The boutique founder has since unveiled the new and likely final colourway. The sneaker is inspired by previous collaborations between SoleFly and Jordan Brand and features a combination of leather and patent leather. The overlay of elephant print and insole gives it a unique look. Eye-catching features include the "SoleFly" branding on the tongue of the right shoe, the mismatched Swoosh logos and the heel tabs that are reminiscent of SoleFly's "Lotto" Jordan 3. Although no exact release date for the SoleFly x Air Jordan 1 Low OG "What The" has been announced yet, you can check out the sample photos below.

When SoleFly announces a new project with Jordan Brand, the entire community listens with anticipation. Their sneakers have always been in the spotlight, and a new sneaker may soon be released. Carlos Prieto, founder and owner of SoleFly, has now shown a sample of the Air Jordan 1 Low on Instagram, but this sneaker might actually be released, if not for everyone, but only for "friends and family".

The Air Jordan 1 Low "What The SoleFly" goes back in time, as the many parts on the upper reference original sneakers from the two partners. Some of the colours allude to the Air Jordan 3 designed by the boutique, while other details recall the collaborative Air Jordan 1.

You can also assume that the right tongue label has been altered. SoleFly has replaced the traditional "NIKE AIR" branding on the tongue of the right shoe. At the very bottom, white midsoles and contrasting outsoles are then used.
