Just a few days ago we talked about the brand new Puerto Rico Pack on the Nike Air Max 1. Today, the official images of the orange version have already appeared! The release date has not changed so far, so we are still assuming June of this year.

Every year, the so-called "Puerto Rico Day" is celebrated on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. Nike has already released numerous sneakers in the past that pay homage to these celebrations. This year, we can look forward to two Nike Air Max 1s inspired by the event. 

This year's designs reflect the so-called "Piraguas": a Puerto Rican ice cream that reminds us of slushies and comes in numerous flavours. In the course of this homage, we can expect two eye-catching Air Max 1s, the "Orange Frost" and the "Blue Gale". The former showcases a variety of orange tones, while the latter uses different shades of blue. 

Both sneakers feature a mix of textile, leather and suede and are equipped with transparent jewel swooshes. In addition, we get to see gold and silver "Puerto Rico" lace locks that are refined by unique ice cream logos on the tongue. A matching "Puerto Rico" lettering on the heels is also not to be missed. 

Of course, we can also look forward to a special packaging that once again picks up on the "Piraguas" theme with the different flavours. We also get a matching towel to go with the sneaker. 

Both Nike Air Max 1s from the brand new "Puerto Rico" Pack will probably be released sometime in June 2023 as part of the celebrations. However, it is still questionable whether we will have access to the sneakers in Europe. We will definitely keep you updated!
