Sotheby's Auctions the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low Sample

Hardly anyone remembers them, but in 2004 Supreme & Nike released three Nike SB Dunk Highs.
These were convincing in the colours red, light blue and orange and had a coarse leather that was modelled on crocodile skin. On the side we found golden stars and a Nike logo made of golden yarn as a tongue tag.
In 2021, Supreme & Nike repeated the collab again and this time took the SB Dunk Lows to task. The new edition came in four colours: Black, Mean Green, Hyper Blue and Bakroot Brown. However, there was also a fifth version that had gold Nike logos instead of gold stars. This "Court Purple" colourway was never sold to the general public and only remained a sample.
The Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low "Court Purple" sample will be auctioned exclusively at Sotheby's from 8 December 2023 until 18 December. With an expected price of between 4,000 and 6,000 dollars, this rare piece takes a unique place in the history of sneakers.
