More details on the upcoming release of the Nike Air Force 1 Mid "Izakaya" a.k.a. "Timeline" have been released. The model is inspired by Japan's unique "Izakaya culture". This is a place where adults relax over alcohol and food. The special tongue is therefore a reference to the big bill you get after a long night at the bar. In this case, however, Nike takes the opportunity to print the receipt with a timeline that acknowledges the 40th anniversary of the Nike Air Force 1.
Unfortunately, the Nike Air Force 1 Mid "Izakaya" will not be released everywhere. Currently, the release is only set for Japan. The sneakers will be released there on August 25th. Presumably, some models will end up on reseller platforms like KLEKT or StockX. Check out the links above.

A lot has happened in the last 40 years. The popular Nike Air Force 1 especially went through numerous changes, but the details could probably only be explained by Nike. The sporting goods manufacturer is now doing just that with a very special Nike Air Force 1 Mid. In the form of a typewritten tongue label, the label briefly summarises the timeline of the silhouette.
The Nike Air Force 1 is a historically important sneaker, and you can now read the individual highlights on the Nike Air Force 1 Mid "Timeline" receipt, which serves for a vintage shop. It comes in the colours "Shimmer/Black/Pale Ivory/Coconut Milk" and is made of both lightweight and durable materials.
In addition, special graphics and embroidery refine the design of the Nike Air Force 1 Mid "Timeline". An illustration of two beavers and a red star can be found on the insoles and heels. Presumably, they are a reference to the silhouette's connection to Beaverton, where the shoes originally came from, and Vietnam, where the AF1s are currently manufactured.
