Supposedly the Nike Air Kukini Will Return in 2022

Nike's brute retro archive is filled with massive silhouettes. For the past few years, Nike has opened the doors time and time again and brought out one coveted retro sneaker after another. In 2022, a comeback could be on the cards as well, as rumour has it that the sportswear label is planning the return of the Nike Air Kukini. These are the details of the leaks.

Nike not only released the Air Presto in 2000, but also the legendary Nike Air Kukini. The silhouette was a clear departure from the other sneakers, as the Air Kukini did away with the lacing system in favour of a neoprene boot-style construction. The sneakers also offer extra support with a skeletal cage that wraps around the entire upper and clings to the soles.

In 2022, Nike is reportedly planning a return, and these two colourways are said to be the first editions. One version features an olive green upper and orange overlays, while the other relies on a black upper and overlays.
