Almost exactly a month ago, we reported on the next JJJJound x New Balance collabo. Apparently, this black 2002R release is not the only colourway that the two partners have come up with.

In addition to this grey GORE-TEX New Balance 2002R, there will probably also be a green iteration.

Unfortunately there is no further release information available at the moment.

If you're a fan of the JJJJound x New Balance collaborations, get ready for a new addition to the collection. The duo have been working together for five years now and in that time have produced some truly sleek and minimalist sneakers. But in their latest 2002R collaboration, they experiment with GORE-TEX technology for the first time. No more soggy socks on rainy days.
 
A simple grey and black color scheme and robust mesh material characterize this sneaker, with only the laces and a small brand logo on the side ankle providing a little variety. A release date has not yet been set, but it can be assumed that the sneaker will be launched in 2024. In the meantime, you can take a first look at the JJJJound x New Balance 2002R.
