The adidas 4DFWD Is Now Sustainable, Thanks to Parley
Made especially for the 2020 Summer Olympics, adidas has announced a brand new 4DFWD. The sneaker, which is based on 17 years of data, is dropping in a bright makeover, and after the first unveiling, the next version now follows. This time, however, it's with long-time partner Parley on board in delivering a sustainable version.
As with previous iterations from the non-profit organisation, the new model is kept in a minimalist aesthetic. The recycled materials are evenly distributed, while the entire sneaker is drenched entirely in black.
This includes the knitted upper, as well as the lower half with printed sole. The Three Stripes on the side then contrast in bright white, while the wavy stripes glow in blue. Elsewhere, subtle light brown accents adorn the collar and the sneaker's second lacing.
