The Air Jordan 1 Mid Harkens Back to the "Purple Mocha" Pattern

The Air Jordan team in Beaverton never seems to run out of ideas for its famous Air Jordan 1 silhouette. A wide catalogue provides enough templates to keep pushing the silhouette forward. Now, for its mid-range variant, the sporting goods manufacturer has unpacked the popular "Purple Mocha" colourway.

At the centre of the sneaker is a black base made of butter-soft leather. The surrounding toe boxes, collars, and tongues follow the colour example. Next to them, leather overlays then change to a chocolate brown hue that reaches all the way to the toes. The mocha look is also enhanced by the brown outsoles.

For more contrast, bright purple hits on the Air Jordan 1 Mid GS "Purple Mocha". Only the Swooshes, laces, and lining appear in the hue, but this minimal approach is enough to draw all the attention to the sneakers.
