The Air Jordan 6 UNC Championship PE is a Limited Edition Tribute to the UNC Tar Heels

Jordan Brand has created a special edition Air Jordan 6 UNC Championship PE to celebrate the UNC Tar Heels' championship years. Today, the North Carolina Tar Heels were gifted the limited edition Air Jordan 6 with only 25 pairs. The retro shoe features an eye-catching upper with contrasting University Blue accents and championship years engraved on the heels - 3 each on the left and right sides. Although only 25 pairs were made, it is highly unlikely that they will ever be released.
 
Each year the Tar Heels have won is noted on the shoe with an embroidered number on the heel, making it a piece of basketball history to wear. Navy blue suede all over the upper is a bold choice, but it works. The University Blue on the midsole and argyle pattern on the tongue are classic UNC accents, while the translucent ice blue rubber sole gives the shoe a modern twist.
