ASICS is known for regularly releasing exciting collections for a certain model from their range and equipping it with numerous colours and a special theme. The same is happening now with the ASICS Gel-Lyte V and the Godai Pack, which visualises the five elements of Japanese culture.
The so-called Godai concept includes the following five elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind and Void. Each shoe represents a different element and uses the corresponding colours to represent the physical characteristics of the respective element. The sneakers are all made of a high-quality mix of leather, suede and nubuck and feature either light blue, green, purple, brown or orange.
In addition, each shoe features a special dubrae in the form of a coin, which shows the Japanese symbol for the respective element. Of course, with the Gel-Lyte V you can look forward to the typical wavy design that was incredibly popular in the 90s. In addition, over 20% of the midsoles are made from recycled materials, so you don't have to do without sustainability with this pack.
The entire "Godai" pack is already available in the US for 140€ each, but we haven't seen the sneakers in Europe yet. We will definitely keep you updated!
