The ASICS GT-2160 "Brick Dust" is a Fresh Look for the Classic Running Shoe of the 2000s

The launch of the ASICS GT-2160 couldn't have come at a better time. With the GEL-Kayano 14 doing very well at retail, ASICS is well positioned to improve its position in the 2000s style running shoe segment. The GT-2160 has been designed with this in mind and now comes in a new energetic colour scheme called "Brick Dust" to stand out from the silver-heavy options.

The ASICS GT-2160 "Brick Dust" comes in a washed out orange on the toebox and overlays on the heel and midfoot, giving the shoe a fresh yet vintage look. The upper has been woven in a beige that is reminiscent of Oyster Grey and both the lining and the mesh are in this colour, while the mesh on the heel, on the other hand, is black. I especially like the cool effect of the arctic blue outsole, which makes the colourway even more unique!
