The Asphaltgold x ASICS EX89 "Impromptu" Brings Jazz to the Streets

Asphaltgold is pleased to introduce the new project with ASICS - the Asphaltgold x ASICS EX89 "Impromptu". Inspired by the GEL Extreme basketball shoe from the 80s, ASICS has brought the court sneaker back to life. The latest collaboration is all about the love of music and its importance in the sneaker and streetwear scene. Music connects us all and everyone has experienced at least one "sneaker moment" in music videos, concerts or award shows. The name "Impromptu" stands for an unprepared and improvised performance, as is common in jazz. The musicians can play harmoniously with each other without having to follow a fixed plan - an essential characteristic of jazz.
 
The Asphaltgold x ASICS EX89 "Impromptu" sneaker is perfect for those who love spontaneous performances. The shoe is strategically crafted from a variety of materials including nubuck, hairy suede and soft leather and has an eye-catching colour scheme.
