The Founder of C2H4 Shows a Custom Nike SB Dunk Low
C2H4 is currently working on a Fall/Winter 2020 collection. Founder Yixi Chen seems to have found the time to create a Dunk on the side, as what his recent post of a custom sneaker shows on Instagram. The inspiration for the sneaker can already be seen at first sight. Yixi uses musical accents that will be used for other pieces in the upcoming C2H4 collection.
On a brown rubber sole and a white midsole, the designer puts a black suede upper. Black and grey shades slowly pile up and accentuate with well-thought-out details. Further ahead, we see inserts of clothing on the toe box, while a metal chain on the sides complements the truly rocking design.
But these shouldn't be the only highlights of this Dunk. The Swooshes come in the form of guitars that scream for attention while the big notes cover the thick rope laces. Once you touch them, they change their colours — a very interesting feature indeed.
Will the C2H4 x Nike SB Dunk Low Be Released?
So far, the release is not yet fixed. Yixi Chen describes a post on Instagram with the caption: "I made a Dunk, inspired by the next collection of @c2h4, which is themed Punk/Rock and Music. Drop an 🎶 if you think we should make some models for you."
