adidas has released the official images of the first adidas Trae Young 3 in "Arctic Night/Core Black/Acid Orange". The sneaker was supposed to be available in the adidas online shop already today, but apparently the release here is delayed by a few days.

adidas and NBA player Trae Young have a long-standing relationship that has resulted in a new version of their joint signature basketball shoe: the adidas Trae Young 3. Speculation is currently swirling about trades and possible new teams for the young point guard, but one thing is for sure: wherever he lands, he'll be wearing his new shoes. With a combination of flexibility and stability, this shoe is designed for explosive movement and quick attacks to catapult Young into his next level as one of the best basketball players in the league.

As the name suggests, this is the basketball star's third signature sneaker and it differs significantly from its two predecessors. The sleek design features a lightweight textile upper, while the lacing and side loops take care of better stability. Plastic clips in the heel area and a reinforcement element in the sole construction lend additional support. The biggest difference to the Trae Young 3, however, is the midsole: Here, adidas apparently no longer relies on the Cloudfoam material but on a construction made of different foam layers, similar to the adidas Adilette 22.
