Fans are still eagerly awaiting the big selection of the Nike Air Max 97, which turns 25 this year, but the focus remains heavily on the Nike Air Force 1 silhouette. Still, we get to take a look at a new model today as Nike adds this AM97 to the "Mighty Swooshers" pack.

The Nike Air Max 97 "Mighty Swooshers" is inspired by the comics, just like the other sneakers from the capsule. This time Nike uses a different coloured pattern of small dots. Metallic overlays adorn the sneaker at the top and blue dots are used in the middle.

In other places, yellow as well as red hits appear, while insoles launch an appeal to fictional superheroes. More lettering can be found on the midsoles, tongue and heel tabs to reinterpret the Air Max logo.

Soon the new sneaker will be released, as the official images of the Nike Air Max 97 "Mighty Swooshers" are already online. We'll keep track of it and notify you when the pair is online.
