Update 22.09.2023

The Stone Island x New Balance MADE in UK 991v2 is an exciting collaboration between the two brands. The sneaker features a mesh upper inspired by slick metal and also features textured nubuck leather. It's covered with plenty of reflective accents that emphasise the industrial space concept of the design. Classic markings from both brands round out the design - the New Balance brand's "N" on the side and Stone Island's compass logo on the tongue. The shoes will be available exclusively through the official Stone Island website and in select Stone Island stores. From 9 October, the sneakers will be available in selected Stone Island stores in China and via the WeChat store, and will be available globally on the official New Balance website from 18 October.

Original article 19.09.2023

Stone Island and New Balance have shared a first look at their next collaboration. After the debut of the FuelCell C_1, the collaboration between the two brands goes into the next round. This time, however, they haven't ventured into a new design, but have further developed an existing classic: the 991. Detailed images are unfortunately not yet online, but loyal followers can once again expect a high-performance sneaker made of high-quality materials.

The design of the shoe is still largely secret, but first pictures on Instagram show a light-coloured sole with the unmistakable Stone Island logo on a black background. The technical highlights are also not yet known, but according to rumours we can look forward to several 3M inserts on the upper. The release of the Stone Island x New Balance 991v2 is imminent and more information should be available soon. Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
