The past few months have been very quiet around the iconic Nike Air Max 1. Other silhouettes with futuristic shapes and colourways were very omnipresent and often stole the spotlight. That is why we are all the more celebrating the comeback of this beloved classic.

The Nike AM1 already reached cult status years ago. Thirty-three years ago, the Beaverton-based brand featured the Air unit with a small window in the sole, which at that time was the talk of the town. Now, the recurring sneaker drops with the colours "Magma Orange" and "Evergreen Aura" and we suspect that these sneakers could only be a small part of a great journey.

Both pairs have a well-known white mesh base and remind us strongly of the early days of the OG. The light canvas sits under grey overlays, with the mudguard, chiseled Swoosh and branding matching the title colour.

We're straight up loving these two versions. Simple colours and a clean background are part of the basic equipment of the AM1. If you don't want to miss the release, you should visit selected retailers like asphaltgold on July 30th. Both issues cost 140€ each.
