The Nike Kobe 8 is Coming Back
One of Kobe Bryant's most popular silhouettes, the Kobe 8, is likely to return in 2023 in Protro form. One of the first pairs to be released will be the Nike Kobe 8 Protro "Triple White", which is set to release in celebration of Kobe Day on 24.08.
The Kobe 8 was designed by Eric Avar and unveiled for the 2012-2013 season. Similar to the Kobe 7, the Kobe 8 also debuted in a "System" version. With this sneaker, he hit two crucial free throws despite suffering a ruptured Achilles tendon.
Dressed in an all-white colour blocking, this version of the Nike Kobe 8 Protro comes with a mesh upper, seamless synthetic overlays and pebbled leather on the collar and heels. Other details include stitched swooshes and Kobe logos on the tongue, a synthetic heel counter for stability and a black midfoot plate. A full-length Lunarlon midsole and Zoom Air cushioning complete the design. The shoes will also be available in men's, primary and preschool sizes.
