There was a time when the adidas NMDs were pretty much the most popular model in the sneaker scene. The futuristic silhouette even competed with the likes of the Ultra Boost. However, as is often the case, the hype of the NMD didn't last forever and the sneaker has faded into obscurity over the years. With updates like the NMD V3 or the S1, adidas tried to revive the hype not too long ago, but this was rather less successful. Now the label is trying again, but this time with the brand new NMD G1!

The latest silhouette also adheres to the futuristic design language of its predecessors and shows clear parallels to the original, especially with regard to the textile upper and the Boost sole. Even though the similarities cannot be overlooked, some significant changes have been made. The model stands out with the help of the adapted midsole plugs and revised panels. 

Currently, five colourways of the brand new silhouette are already available at adidas in the full size run for a price of 160€ each. Some of the colour combinations even look really chic and we really like them. Check out the link if you're in the mood for a pair!
