Jordan Brand sponsors a whole range of universities in the USA and supports them in many different ways. It is not uncommon for the respective universities to receive an exclusive colourway of a specific Jordan model, which usually reflects the team colours. The Georgetown Hoyas are a good example of this with their Air Jordan 23. But now the Oklahoma Sooners are also getting their exclusive edition.

Logically, the Air Jordan 23 "Oklahoma Sooners" PE also comes in the team colours of the university and visualises its long history. Red suede dominates the side panels, while an embossed "OU" logo can be seen on the outer ones. The inner sides present the university's initials in a slightly different way, however, as they are emphasised by fine stitching. The insides of the tongues also feature the lettering "Boomer" and "Sooner", which draw attention to the team's famous chant. 

Parts of the midsole come in a glossy black colour, while the laces, outsoles, base and tongues are a clean white. The latter also feature "OU" logos, which stand out clearly in red. As usual, this sneaker is an exclusive release reserved for students and players at the University of Oklahoma.
