Insiders on Instagram have uploaded more images of the Travis Scott x Nike Mac Attack. The pair has not yet been confirmed by Nike, but rumour has it that the shoes will be released later this year.

The official pictures are not long in coming. Nike released detailed photos of the Mac Attack "OG" one day after Travis and John presented it. The current assumption is a release on June 23rd.

Check out the latest close-ups of the Nike Mac Attack "OG" (2023)! Thanks to @prvt.selection we even get to see the special shoe box of the sneaker, which by the way perfectly matches the tongue tags. A release is expected in summer 2023.

During an event in Miami, Travis Scott takes the stage wearing his Mac Attack collab from Nike for the first time. The sneakers are similar in grey and black to the original, but feature the signature inverted Swoosh logo that was also used on Travis' previous Nike and Air Jordan collaborations. The shoe features a mesh and leather construction with a checkerboard logo on the tongue and a white midsole and grey rubber outsole. Cactus Jack branding is also rumoured to be used, but these details have not yet been shared.

Will Nike's Mac Attack OG return to the spotlight of the sneaker world in 2023? These leaks have been circulating since September 2022 and today we finally get our first images of the upcoming sneaker.
 
The popular pair was originally released in 1984, linked to tennis legend John McEnroe and has never seen a retro version until now. Nike recently noticed a resurgence in the silhouette's popularity, as members of the Nike family such as LeBron James and Travis Scott were spotted wearing vintage pairs in 2021, prompting Nike to whip out this long-awaited revival.
 
Rumoured to be released in the summer of 2023, this nostalgic sneaker will take us back to its roots with its original design elements. The Nike Mac Attack OG features a mesh underlay and smooth leather overlays, both with light grey accents, and is finished with navy blue detailing along the swooshes and mesh toe box, as well as leather collar and lower heels. The tongues are also designed with black and blue checkerboard banners adorned with a bold Nike Sportswear logo.

Tennis has become more popular since Serena Williams' successful career, and with the hype, sneaker celebrities are making a comeback. The latest model, which originally debuted in 1984 and may make a comeback the following year, is the Nike Mac Attack. Supposedly, the OG colourway and modern variants will appear.

In addition to this colourway, the Nike Mac Attack is also expected to drop as a collaboration sneaker with Social Status. The silhouette is a mid-top sneaker, and the shoes are made of premium materials such as leather and lightweight mesh. Expect a bright upper of white hits, and dark blue accents appear on the Swooshes, collar and heels.

A few weeks ago, Travis Scott showed a grey-blue Nike Mac Attack with light soles. Elsewhere, Nike brandings on the back and tongue labels with a chequered pattern round off the overall design of the Nike Mac Attack.

It's obvious that Nike is bringing back the Mac Attack OG. In the past, the sports giant has released numerous retro models. We'll be following the leaks and notifying you as updates come in.
