Following the successful drop of the thisisneverthat x New Balance 860 V2 collection in February 2022, the two labels have decided to release another instalment of the ’90s running-inspired sneakers. This time, the South Korean streetwear label and Boston-based sporting goods manufacturer will drop a collaborative 2002R and 1906R.
The styles are based on the famous New Balance 1500UKG, which was an absolute favourite among many fans in the ’90s. Different shades of grey meet the thisisneverthat x New Balance 2002R and 1906R, with the latter deepening the impression of a dad shoe with metallic stripes.
Elsewhere, the sneakers have a shock-absorbing N-ergy outsole, an ABZORB midsole, and ABZORB SBS heel cushioning for comfort and performance. The design is then completed with blue co-branded insoles.
