The Snake is Back on the Air Jordan 2 "Python"

After just a few days, there is already news regarding the Air Jordan 2 "Python"! The sneaker has now been officially unveiled as part of the Jordan Brand Spring 2024 collection, and the first images can also be seen. The release date of 20 January has not changed.

In recent years, you may have noticed that Jordan Brand has put a lot of work into refreshing the style of the 1986 Air Jordan 2. The high and low tops haven't been in as high demand as other retro options, but that hasn't stopped the Beaverton-based brand from giving MJ's second signature shoe a major overhaul. In 2024, they'll make a splash with a new version of the classic silhouette, the Air Jordan 2 "Python".
 
If you don't want to wait that long, you can at least take a look at the first images of the shoe. And they show: The sneaker comes in a reptile look! A white leather upper forms the basis of the shoe. The tongue and collar are kept colorless and form a nice contrast to the black areas of the tongue tab and inner lining. The sole and the lacing system are in "Sail", while the python snakeskin structure on the middle section rounds off the look perfectly. The only color accent is the "University Red" logo on the heel. The Air Jordan 2 "Python" has not yet been confirmed, but the sneakers will reportedly be released on January 20.
