With the official images, Nike and Supreme confirm the release of the Air Bakin range from the Spring/Summer 2023 collection. The shoes drop on March 2nd at the Supreme online shop and on March 4th in Japan.

Insiders have revealed first images of the Supreme x Nike Air Bakin collaboration for the Supreme Spring/Summer 2023 collection. Featuring two colour options — "Black/Speed Red/Multi-Color" and "White/White Amarillo" — the 1997 Supreme x Nike Air Bakin is reinterpreted for the future. The "Black/Speed Red-/Multi-Color" option features a gradient pattern on the overlays and black nubuck along the mudguards with Speed Red laces, while the "White/White Amarillo" pair features a mesh base with tumbled leather overlays, as well as smooth leather mudguards and yellow laces. Supreme branding on the heel tabs, insoles, tags, and packaging completes the overall look. An additional set of laces is also included with each pair. Nike has yet to confirm the sneakers, but reportedly both pairs will drop on March 2nd.

Supreme and Nike have teamed up to bring us something exciting in the Supreme Spring/Summer 2023 collection. The collaboration is expected to be inspired by the '90s basketball shoe Air Bakin, and Supreme will release it in up to three colourways.

Although a mock-up of the shoe is already circulating, Supreme has not yet confirmed if this is the final product. However, a version of the Supreme x Nike Air Bakin is said to have a black and red base, and Supreme's signature branding could adorn the midsoles.

In this era of Nike basketball, it was most notably worn by Miami Heat player Tim Hardaway. According to initial reports, the Supreme version could appear soon.
