adidas' vast archive contains a great variety of many unique and experimental technologies that have already changed the sneaker game several times. This week, the Three Stripes label has announced the revival of the peg system. The adidas G.S. "Cloud White" features this.

In the 1980s, adidas developed a new cushioning system that allowed athletes to buy a pair of sports shoes and adjust the cushioning to their liking. This was achieved through this revolutionary "peg system", which incorporated three quarter-inch-wide rubber pegs in the heel of the shoe.

Each pair comes with a total of 18 pegs in three colours, each with a different density. This allows wearers to customise the adidas G.S. "Cloud White" to their needs. In addition, the new retro version is made of 50% recycled materials, while eye-catching silver stripes reinterpret the sneaker.
