This Air Force 1 Is Reminiscent of the Incredible Hulk

In the course of its incredibly long history, the Air Force 1 has already undergone quite a few changes and been given the wildest colour combinations. You could almost think that by now, almost every colourway has been seen on the sneaker and that there can't really be any more innovative ideas. But the label with the Swoosh always manages to surprise us and is now releasing a new CW that uses a popular colour mix.

The upper of the Air Force 1 Hulk is wrapped in a very classic white leather to set a good foundation for the striking colours. A rich green is used on the Swoosh, the branding on the tongue, the heel tab, and the midsole. This bright hue is in turn complemented by a bright purple on the tongue, heel, and stripes on the midsole. The rubber outsole then brings another colour into play with the golden look.

Nike doesn't give an exact source of inspiration for the design, but a few things can be associated with this particular colour combination. On the Air Jordan 1 Mid, we already got a similar look in the past with the Hulk colourway. But the mix of green and purple may just as easily be attributed to Donatello from the Ninja Turtles, the Joker, or even Mardi Gras. The references are probably numerous.

The official images of the Air Force 1 Hulk are already out, but there is no confirmed release date yet. However, a release should not be too far away. We will, of course, inform you directly if there is any news.
