This Air Jordan 36 Honours NBA Star Rui Hachimura

The Air Jordan 36 is certainly not one of the hottest Air Jordan silhouettes, yet the model has been used as a canvas for some high-profile releases this year. For example, NBA superstar Luka Dončić got his own Air Jordan 36 PE "El Matador". Chinese New Year was also celebrated with the Air Jordan 36 "Year of the Tiger".

Now, images of a brand-new AJ36 have surfaced, again using the silhouette to honour a special NBA star — Rui Hachimura.

The 24-year-old Washington Wizards forward now gets a black and red AJ36, which has quite a few references to Hachimura's Japanese roots.

The highlight of the shoe is the Japanese cranes and flowers that cover the entire upper. Rui's personal logo can be seen on the left tongue, along with Japanese characters behind the tongue and heel tabs.
