Thisisneverthat prepares a brown New Balance 550

The 90s vibes also return with the thisisneverthat x New Balance 550 collection. The official images of the campaign have surfaced and they are well worth a look. Inspired by the classic black soles used for skating and hiking, the 550 silhouette has been reworked in "Brown", "Lavender" and "Green" colours, with sleek accents. Alongside these details, thisisneverthat has also revealed the release schedule. The collection will be released online in the US on 23 August and in Europe, China and Korea on 24 August.

Are you ready for a fusion of streetwear and retro vibes? Then check out the latest collaboration between New Balance and South Korean streetwear label thisisneverthat! The icons of the 80s, the "550" basketball sneakers, have been reinterpreted by the creative minds of both labels and come in three different colourways - including this rich brown shade. The rugged brown canvas upper is particularly striking, punctuated with black leather details that form the iconic "N" lettering. An elegant combination of both brands on the tongue and heel is of course not to be missed. The laces, lining and rubber sole are also all black. Unfortunately, no release details are known at this point, but the thisisneverthat x New Balance 550 "Brown" is reportedly planned for the next few months.

The latest collaboration between thisisneverthat and New Balance is finally here! The two brands have collaborated to create the New Balance 550 and unveiled it at Paperboy Paris's Paris Fashion Week pop-up. The shoe is available in three different colors and is expected to launch in the fall.

The streetwear label thisisneverthat from Seoul, South Korea, has been around since 2009. After successful collaborations with New Balance for the 2002R, 1906R and 860v2 models, the South Korean brand will once again work with New Balance to launch a new interpretation of the popular 550 model. The collaboration between thisisneverthat and New Balance has proven to be a successful combination. We can't wait to see what the latest project of this collaboration will bring!
 
Dressed in an earthy color combination, the thisisneverthat x New Balance 550 offering showcases a chocolate brown canvas upper that extends to the tongues for a premium feel. Other details include black cracked leather "N" logos on the sides, color-matched laces, mesh inner lining and tongue edges. Thisisneverthat logo imprints on the tongues and heels and a solid black rubber sole round out the design. The shoe also comes in co-designed packaging.
