Not only the official images, but also a first release date for the CLOT x Nike Cortez “Clotez” drop has been set. The sneakers will be released in Juice stores on February 10th. At Nike, the sneakers should be released at a later date.

Friends of Edison Chen have revealed detailed images of the CLOT x Nike Cortez. With the photos, we also get a look at the inner life of the sneaker. The sneakers come with removable elastic sleeves that are connected to serrated sole units.

The inner sneaker is a different story altogether, as the Cortez is made of smooth white leather, and the Chinese calligraphy "Kung Fu" is embroidered on the heels. No other colourways have been mentioned, but a "Black Varsity Maize" and "Forrest Gump" are supposedly dropping alongside the black and white CLOT x Nike Cortez.

The highly anticipated CLOT x Nike Cortez collaboration caused an unexpected surprise when Edison Chen unveiled the new design. Featuring a classic white leather upper and tongue contrasted by a black Swoosh on the midfoot, this shoe is a head-turner. But it may also be a reworked version, because the side logos look like they've been cut out.

But what's more impressive than that? It’s the mysterious overlay that covers the lower part of the sneaker. Overall, the look is reminiscent of Bruce Lee's kung fu shoes and other martial artists who wear them during training.

A crisp white sole with a black stripe then appears at the very bottom. The look matches the rest of the CLOT x Nike Cortez and the clean laces. Two more colourways are rumoured to be dropping alongside this sneaker, but unfortunately no pics have been revealed.

You can assume that we will follow these leaks to the end. Supposedly, all three CLOT x Nike Cortez are dropping in spring 2023.
