Update 07.03.2024
After several months, JJJJound has finally confirmed the collaboration with adidas. The designer unveiled the JJJJound x adidas Samba "Sail" and "Black" via Instagram. JJJJound did not give an exact release date, but the sneakers are part of the Spring/Summer 2024 collection and should therefore be released in just a few weeks.
Update 15.12.2023
The JJJJound x adidas Samba collaboration first became known over a year ago when two models - classic with leather uppers and suede-like uppers with custom heel branding - surfaced online in November 2022. Images of a third pair in "Off-White/Core Black/Gum" have now been published. On closer inspection, this pair resembles the well-known Samba model. It also retains many details from that pair, such as the rubber-like midsole and outsole, the gray suede toe cap and the black three-stripe logo in the midfoot area. There's also an earthy gold hue on the leather collar lining and another co-branding stamp on the inner medial side. The release is scheduled for March 2024 and will cost 250 dollars, according to Kicksfinder.

Collaborative sneakers have become an important part of the sneaker story. Designers, rappers, and other brands are doing their part in the successful business strategy to make silhouettes even more popular. At adidas, JJJound will soon continue this trend. The collaborator is set to release two revamped Sambas very soon.
This move makes perfect sense, as JJJJound has made popular silhouettes even more hip in the past. The Montreal-based design label has not yet announced a release date, but insiders have now revealed these images. One pair resembles the OG Samba, and another is made of shaggy suede.
The former appears in a contrasting colour scheme of black leather and white Three Stripes. Additionally, the brown lining is made of fine leather, which matches the colour of the rubber sole. The second JJJound x adidas Samba from the range is completely in earthy colours and also features co-branding on the backs.
Don't Miss the Release of the JJJJound x adidas Samba
No release date has been announced yet, but the two JJJJound x adidas Sambas are rumoured to drop in the next few months. Check out the first pics here and keep an eye on our release calendar.
