What if? Spider-Man, Supervillains and other Marvel Characters Projected onto Sneakers

"Spider-Man: No Way Home" premiered at the Fox Village Theatre in Los Angeles on December 13th, 2021 and everyone who has already seen the film feels like they cannot talk about anything else right now. The new part offers gripping scenes, emotions and captivating dialogues with Tom Holland alias Peter Parker, Zendaya alias Michelle Jones-Watson and other characters.

Our favourite hero Spider-Man and his friends save the world from super villains once again. But we don't want to spoil anyone here and keep the surprises open for you. Instead, we look into our own universe and wonder what sneakers would look like if they were inspired by Spider-Man, Dr. Strange or other characters.

"Spider-Man: No Way Home" encouraged us to design this four-piece custom collection that represents our imagination. For us, Spider-Man, Dr. Strange, Norman Osborn aka Green Goblin and Dr. Otto Octavius aka Doctor Octopus played a very important role. They have now been transferred to an Air Jordan 6, Air Jordan 16, Nike Air Foamposite and Reebok Stomper.

We have visualised Spider-Man on the Air Jordan 6. His red superhero suit covers a soft suede upper that is refined with special details. The rear section as well as the red toe box of the Spider-Man: No Way Home x Air Jordan 6 "Spider-Man" receive additional fine lines reminiscent of the spider web pattern. Contrasting blue then hits the nubuck overlays and laces, while gold accents adorn the heel tabs, lacing system and midsoles. Elsewhere, you'll find light blue inserts inspired by Spider-Man's eyes.

Dr. Strange plays a very important role in the new Marvel film. We were inspired by his blue robe and floating red cape. A tumbled leather forms the background for the blue layer and the red overlays then wrap the Spider-Man: No Way Home x Air Jordan 16 "Dr. Strange". In addition, the sneakers then receive an eye-catching pattern and the mighty relic "the Eye of Agamotto" adorns the sides of the AJ16.

Green Goblin is one of Spider-Man's arch enemies and of course cannot be missing in this mighty collection. His metallic suit is transferred to the Nike Air Foamposite. Lateral grooves provide a perfect base for the fluted collar, typical of the mutant villain. Gold midsoles are then used underneath to represent the poisonous eyes and a dangerous Pumpkin Bomb adorns the heel of the Spider-Man: No Way Home x Nike Air Foamposite "Green Goblin".

Doctor Octopus is back and causes a lot of trouble. His mechanical tentacles and dark coat were the inspiration for a Reebok Stomper with a stealthy look. Black leather covers the high-cut sneaker and flexible gripping arms are placed on the heels, similar to the ones of Dr. Octavius. Finally, "doc ock" lettering on the straps completes the design of the Spider-Man: No Way Home x Reebok Stomper "Doc Ock".
