When adidas Superstar Meets Concrete - Y-3 KYASU

The Y-3 KYASU is a unique combination of adidas' sporty heritage and Yamamoto's unconventional style. The designers had the idea to create a shoe that looks like an adidas Superstar cast in concrete and the result is the Y-3 KYASU.

With its clean style, the adidas Y-3 KYASU takes it to the extreme. The shoe consists of just a few elements, such as a rubber shell, a PU midsole and a leather upper, which are sewn onto the soft, lightweight midsole material. The result is a raw and expressive look that epitomises Yohji Yamamoto's avant-garde design vision. Another highlight is the pronounced, thick sole, which gives the shoe vertical stability.
