Selecta Bisso, a sneaker, music, and art enthusiast, has teamed up with footwear brand KangaROOS to drop a new shoe by 2022. The two have expanded their "Made in Germany" collaboration with the "Trout II", which features real fish skin on KangaROOS' Coil R1 silhouette.

The design is inspired by street fishing and mixes the greyness of city life with bright colours reminiscent of fish and the waters they live in. Limited to 500 pieces, the Bisso x KangaROOS Coil R1 "Trout II" combines suede with genuine fish leather that has undergone a vegetable tanning process.

The fish materials used for the shoes were obtained from food industry waste and then recycled. Other details include each pair being numbered on the heel counter, a rainbow trout stamp on the heel, shared branding on the tongue, and a recycled paper carry bag.
