Yohji Yamamoto Presents his Y-3 Gendo Sneakers with Hollowed Out Soles

adidas and Yohji Yamamoto will launch a new sneaker line in just a few days, the Y-3 Gendo. These sneakers are just shoes, they are works of art. Designed by the adidas innovation team, the TPU plate is completely hollowed out and serves as a midsole for ultimate performance. Combined with the Superstar model, the result is a unique adidas Y-3 Gendo Superstar that perfectly combines the aesthetics of both brands. The adidas Y-3 Gendo ProModel is a high-top pro-model upper and trades a more conventional lacing system for an expressive zip.
 
The Y-3 Gendo sneakers were first unveiled at Yohji Yamamoto's runway show. Fans will be able to shop the styles globally from 21 October at Yohji Yamamoto boutiques, theshopyohjiyamamoto.com, adidas.co.uk/y-3, on CONFIRMED, in-store and through selected retailers.
